Wasaga Beach Rotary Club Distributes $100,000 Corvette Lottery



The Rotary Club of Wasaga Beach presented nineteen local and regional registered charities with a wonderful gift.

At a recent Rotary Club meeting, each selected charity received a check for a portion of the $100,000 raised through the Rotary Corvette lottery.

Bryan Davies of the Rotary Club of Wasaga Beach presented Joy Fleury with a check for Habitat For Humanity South Georgian Bay.

The Rotary Club of Wasaga Beach is a group of dedicated men and women who work together to improve our communities.

Some of the other 19 charities that will receive funds from the Corvette Lottery include: Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre, Junior Achievement Wasaga Beach, Georgian Triangle Humane Society, Theater Collingwood, Clearview Community Theatre, Breaking Down Barriers Georgian Triange, My Friend’s House , Collingwood General and Marine Hospital, Home Horizon, Wasaga Beach YMCA, Gilda’s Club of Simcoe Muskoka, Wasaga Beach Ministerial Food Bank, Hospice Georgian Triangle, First Robotics of Simcoe County, Wasaga Beach Air Cadets, Friends of Nancy Island and Wasaga Beach Park, and Simcoe Mental Health Peer Support.
