This initiative was supported by the Ontario Trillium Foundation. The funding received has been a real contribution to the creation of this program and is a key element in its overall success.
Through this year-long program, which began in February 2017, the City has provided volunteer opportunities to hundreds of volunteers who have contributed many hours of service.
The Ontario Trillium Foundation (OTF) is an agency of the Government of Ontario and one of Canada’s largest granting foundations. With a budget of over $136 million, OTF awards grants to some 1,000 projects each year to build healthy and vibrant Ontario communities.
