Ramara’s Library Hosts Drag Queen’s Storytime

The library is one of six events held across the county, as well as a virtual drag queen trivia party

Ramara Township Public Library is looking forward to celebrating pride and the LGBTQ2S+ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer or questioning, and two-spirited) community in June with two great programming opportunities.

In addition to participating public libraries in Collingwood, Innisfil, Midland, New Tecumseth and Wasaga Beach, this Simcoe-wide library initiative encourages residents to celebrate and support diversity with a drag queen story hour and evening- drag queen virtual quiz.

With the wonderful Haus of Devereaux, we welcome Athena Vegas, Carmen Del Rae, Justine D’as, Jemm Doshay and E’Claire Devereaux.

Families, youth, adults, and anyone who wants to enjoy and participate in a positive and uplifting experience are encouraged to register with one of the following library systems to attend a drag queen story hour.

The program will include songs, stories and more. Please contact your local library system for details. (Registration at the Ramara Library can be found here.)
