The Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit continues to offer pop-up, one-day COVID-19 vaccination clinics at locations across Simcoe Muskoka, with the next clinics taking place April 19-24. and older, a third dose and a booster dose for people 12 years of age and older, and a fourth dose for people 60 years of age and older and Indigenous people and non-Indigenous household members 18 years of age and more are available at the following locations:

tuesday april 19

The health unit continues to offer walk-in COVID-19 vaccines at the Georgian Mall, 509 Bayfield St. in Barrie, will be open daily April 20-22 from noon to 5 p.m. and April 23 from 9 a.m. at 16 o’clock.

You can also receive the vaccine in many local pharmacies or made appointments through some primary care providers and family health teams who offer the vaccine as part of their regular clinical practice. Pop-up and mobile GO-VAXX clinics will continue to be held in Simcoe and Muskoka.

Additionally, the COVID-19 Immunization Clinic at 29 Sperling Dr. in Barrie is offering walk-in visits and appointments through the end of April, maintaining its regular hours of 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays.

When coming to a clinic, people are encouraged to dress for the weather, as they may be required to wait outside before entering the clinic. They are also reminded to bring proper identification (eg, health card, driver’s license, passport), a list of all medications they are taking, to wear a loose shirt that allows easy access to upper arm and bring any assistive devices as needed (e.g. scooter, wheelchair, cane). Please note that everyone attending a Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit Community Immunization Clinic will be required to wear a mask. Masks will be made available at the entrance of all our clinics.
