E3 COMMUNITY SERVICES
**************************

On Thursday, September 30, E3 Community Services was selected to present for 100 Women Who Care South Georgian Triangle, a group that brings together women from Collingwood, Creemore, Meaford, Stayner, Thornbury and Wasaga Beach to make real and lasting impacts in our local communities.

The group’s current membership is approximately 180 women from across the South Georgia Triangle region. Four times a year, they get together and each donate $ 100 to a local charity chosen by the members.

When band member and staunch E3 supporter Nancy Godfrey approached the E3 team about the opportunity, they jumped at the chance to help Nancy present to the group!

E3 was very grateful to have the opportunity to share more about their impact in the community and new opportunities over the next few years, including their new volunteer program, which is already in development. This integrated volunteer program will enhance inclusive community engagement and belonging, focused on the needs of those supported at E3, and expand many areas of the organization to enable people to pursue their individual and self-reliant interests, including painting, gardening and cooking.

A full-time volunteer manager and community liaison will manage the program to ensure everyone is connected in a process of experiential learning for growth that meets everyone’s diverse needs and interests. E3 is actively looking for the right person for this role, and we invite you to contact E3 if you would like to join the team.

We are very happy to announce that E3 Community Services has been the selected recipient for the fall meeting and has already received close to $ 20,000 from this generous group of women! Many thanks to Nancy Godfrey and everyone at 100 Women Who Care South Georgian Triangle! Your generous donations will go a long way in supporting E3’s new volunteer program.
