Drug trafficking and carried guns against two teenagers in Wasaga Beach

Police found methamphetamine, cannabis, pills, as well as brass knuckles and pepper spray while responding to traffic complaint near beach 1

WASAGA BEACH – Members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Huronia West Detachment charged two people with drug and weapons offenses after responding to a complaint under the Ontario Provincial Police alcohol (LLA) at Wasaga Beach.

On Sunday, June 13, 2021, at approximately 10:40 p.m., officers responded to a parking lot near Beach Zone 1 on Beach Drive. With the help of a member of the public, officers located two intoxicated people nearby.

The two individuals were arrested for public intoxication and a search carried out under the LLA resulted in the seizure of:

  • Alcohol
  • Cannabis
  • Various pills
  • Methamphetamine
  • $ 8,185 in Canadian currency
  • Digital scale
  • Push the dagger
  • American fist
  • Pepper spray

As a result of the investigation, 19-year-old Wasaga Beach Dylan Bradley was charged with:

  • Possession of weapon for dangerous purposes
  • Carry a concealed weapon
  • Unauthorized possession of a prohibited weapon or a restricted weapon
  • Disobeying court order
  • Possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime over $ 5,000
  • Possession of a substance listed in Schedule IV for the purpose of trafficking

Brennan Moreau, 19 from Wasaga Beach, has been charged with:

  • Possession of weapon for dangerous purposes
  • Carry a concealed weapon
  • Unauthorized possession of a prohibited weapon or a restricted weapon
  • Non-compliance with the commitment
  • Do not comply with the penalty
  • Possession of property obtained by crime under $ 5,000
  • Trafficking in substances listed in Annex IV – other drugs
  • Possession of a substance listed in Schedule IV for the purpose of trafficking
  • Possession of a substance listed in Schedule II for the purpose of trafficking

The accused are scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Collingwood on August 10, 2021.
