Armory Art Center announces lineup for 5th Annual West Palm Beach Arts Festival

The 5th Annual West Palm Beach Arts Festival presented by the Armory Art Center will be held December 4 and 5 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. outdoors on the Armory campus. The festival will feature local and foreign artists, live music, demonstrations, food trucks and activities for all ages.

Artists performing for the festival include, on Saturday, Mark Cohen (printmaking), Marty Hyman (jewelry store) and Mark Walnock (Raku). Sunday artists include Jennifer Kaplan (Throwing Large РCeramics), Maria Camera Smith (Chasing / Repouss̩) and Jamie Rodriguez (Sculpture). Bands performing during the two-day event are Derek Mack Band, Neil Bacher and Friends, Orchid City Trombone Ensemble, Orchid City Brass Band, Palm Beach Pipes, Palm Beach State Jazz Ensemble, Palm Beach State Tuesday Night Band and The Roaring Kelly Band. The Armory will be hosting an open house at Montgomery Hall during the festival on Saturday, December 4 from noon to 2 p.m. This does not apply to special workshops or pop-ups.

Art of the BraveHeARTS, the exhibition on display at Montgomery Hall during the festival, will be open both days from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in West Palm Beach to help build self-esteem, develop talent and develop new skills through the visual arts. Art of the BraveHeARTS is on display from November 10 to December 5.

The main sponsor of this event is the Laurence W. Levine Foundation. Additional sponsorship is provided by Florida Weekly and The Palm Beach Post. The last Festival brought together 6,000 visitors and 95 artists with works representing the mediums of drawing, painting, photography, engraving, mixed media, ceramics, sculpture, fiber, jewelry. , glass and furniture.
