Additional attractions are slated to open at Blue this weekend, but you can’t just get in

This season, due to COVID-19 security protocols, there will be no walk-in tickets available, all passes must be purchased online in advance

The first weekend of welcoming guests to the grounds of the Blue Mountain Resort was a success, a resort manager said.

“It’s wonderful to welcome customers again in the summer to Blue. Most of our summer attractions are now open, including the outdoor gondola, mill pond and our trail network in Explore Park, ”said Tara Lovell, resort public relations manager.

The resort began opening its outdoor attractions on June 4, which included the Waterfall Putting, Rock Climbing Wall, Chutes and Bowling Ball Trail, Woodlot Low Ropes, and Woods Challenge High Ropes Course. .

“The energy at the resort is great and our team is excited to start sharing the Blue-Mountain experience with guests again,” added Lovell.

Lovell added that it is essential for those wishing to take advantage of one of the newly opened attractions to plan their visit in advance.

“All attraction passes and tickets are only available online. There are no walk-in tickets available. We continue to manage the capacity of our attractions and if guests arrive without a pre-purchased experience and the resort is already at full capacity, they may be invited to visit on another day, ”explained Lovell.

As the province moves towards Stage 1 of the roadmap for reopening this friday, the resort will open a few more attractions, such as the ridge runner roller coaster, triple zip wind rider and segways.
